Storytelling. Healing. Speaking truth into spaces that need it most.
That’s the thread running through everything I do.
My Story.
I draw strength from four decades of life as a resilient woman, born and raised in Guadalajara, Jalisco, México. I grew up surrounded by storytellers, vibrant art, delicious food, contagious laughter, and, above all, a deep love for community. My connection with nature and diversity was shaped through close work with indigenous communities—an experience that continues to ground me.
I am a Mexican immigrant with a BA in Psychology from ITESO, a Jesuit university in Guadalajara. To sharpen my English, I studied at Loyola University of Chicago before spending 12 years as an educator in Texas, where I learned firsthand the power of cultural identity, curiosity, and resilience.
Later, I became Director of Professional Development and Outreach at Creative Waco, where I spent three years designing spaces for collective healing, leadership, and growth. Along the way, I trained as an EMDR therapist and discovered that my love of theatre and storytelling could also thrive through film. My projects have now reached more than 30 national and international festivals, carrying stories of truth, identity, and belonging across borders.
My journey is proof that healing and transformation happen not only in therapy rooms, but also in classrooms, on stages, through film, and in every space where we choose to tell the truth.
